Paying for College
Cost of Attendance
The U.S. Department of Education mandates that all colleges and universities provide a Cost of Attendance, which encompasses both direct and indirect expenses.
The Cost of Attendance does not reflect the actual charges you will be responsible for if you enroll at OCtech.
The Cost of Attendance is an estimate of the expenses for one academic year, excluding any financial aid like grants, scholarships, and loans. It includes both direct and indirect costs. Direct costs consist of items like tuition and fees, while indirect costs, which won’t appear on your bill, are estimated expenses related to attending college. These indirect costs cover items like loan fees, books and supplies, transportation, living costs, and other personal expenses.
Keep in mind that certain programs may have additional fees for things such as uniforms or tools.
