Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College will celebrate the first class graduating from its electrical lineman program with a showcase highlighting their new skills and recognizing the employers who made the program possible.

OCtech’s new electrical lineman program was created to meet a growing regional workforce need and to strengthen the pipeline for skilled utility workers. This collaboration shows how industry-college partnerships can accelerate workforce development, expand training capacity and provide direct pathways to high-paying jobs.
