Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College will help new students get college-ready during its annual Fall Assembly, set for Tuesday, Aug. 16.
Students will benefit from small group meetings with coordinators and faculty from their program of choice and learn about the type of training they will need to get the job they want.
Program orientations will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in locations across campus. Students will then gather in Roquemore Auditorium for remarks from OCtech administrators and a keynote address by Orangeburg County Development Commission Executive Director Gregg Robinson. Information booths will be set up for students in the atrium of Building R.
This year, OCtech’s Middle College students will have the opportunity to get student IDs and parking decals, tour the campus and visit the bookstore during special orientation sessions from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 17-18.
There’s still time to register for the fall semester. Call 803-535-1234, visit www.octech.edu or stop by the Admissions Office in Building S on the OCtech campus to learn more. Fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 22.
