The Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College Medical Assisting and Radiologic Technology programs-old-old-old-old held a virtual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Keynote speaker was Candance Tooley, dean of Health Science and Nursing at the college.
Honored for outstanding academic achievement were Deirdre Moorer, who earned the highest GPA in the Medical Assisting class, and Alyssa Thompkins, who earned the highest GPA in the Radiologic Technology class.
Members of the 2020 Medical Assisting class are Keri Bonnette, Brittany Eady, KeAndra Hightower, Micayla Inabinet, Deirdre Moorer, Taretta Nimmons and Dajah Pam.
Members of the 2020 Radiologic Technology class are Jordan Dove, Amber Evans, Heather Fender, Shatasha Harrison, Ariel Hasty, Grace Hughes, Lauren Jamison, Dallas Milhouse, Kristie Murphy, Nevada Sellers and Alyssa Thompkins. This year’s Radiologic Technology class has achieved a 100 percent first-time licensure exam pass rate.
