Learn how to prepare for exciting, in-demand careers at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College during the school’s Division Showcases in July.
OCtech’s University Transfer, Education and Agriculture programs-old-old-old-old will be highlighted on Tuesday, July 12. In addition to earning an associate degree, University Transfer students can choose from more than 80 courses that will transfer to any South Carolina public college or university and most private institutions.
On Thursday, July 14, the focus will be on Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology programs-old-old-old-old. Students in these programs-old-old-old-old gain hands-on training with KUKA robots, a simulated Festo assembly plant, welding and truck driving simulators, 3D printers and more to prepare for careers in a number of cutting-edge fields.
Learn more about the college’s Business, Computer Technology and Public Service programs-old-old-old-old on Tuesday, July 19. Graduates of these programs-old-old-old-old enjoy rewarding careers in accounting firms, government and law enforcement agencies, law offices, information technology departments and more.
Nursing, Health Science and Emergency Services programs-old-old-old-old will be featured on Thursday, July 21. These competitive OCtech programs-old-old-old-old offer extensive classroom training and practical clinical experience to help students succeed. Graduates consistently score above state and national averages on licensure exams.
All Division Showcases will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on campus in Building S.
A number of OCtech’s programs-old-old-old-old are offered day, evening and online through Evening College for the Working Adult. Evening College scholarships are available, and financial aid is available to those who qualify.
