For Orangeburg and Calhoun County high school students, Early College is a great opportunity to earn college credits and complete a certificate, diploma or degree before you graduate high school.

Students in Early College gain confidence in their abilities and get exposure to possible career paths and future plans.

Four types of Early College:

Career Pathways give you plenty of choices

We offer 18 Early College Pathways

Pathways help students select courses relevant to their chosen field or interests. Our career pathways allow students in Early College to take coursework as soon as they meet college entrance requirements and the high school’s criteria to participate.

How to apply

Both the dual credit and concurrent enrollment options for enrolling in Early College require a school counselor’s or principal’s permission.

Interested students should complete the Early College application packet in the link below, have it approved by their school counselor or principal, and then submit their application and any required placement test scores.
