Sylvamo Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must have:

• Enrolled in the Early Care and Education program
• Registered for 6 or more credit hours for Spring 2
• Filed and completed an online FAFSA application for the 2024-2025 academic year.
• Written and attached a brief essay (no more than 1 page, double-spaced) which responds to the following:

1. 1. Why did you choose to attend Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and enroll in the Early Care and Education program?
   2. How will this scholarship impact you and your family?
   3. Why should you be considered to receive a scholarship?

Completed scholarship applications are due by Friday, February 28. Applications may be submitted by mail, email or returned to the OCtech Financial Aid Office.
