The Student Success Center is your first stop to academic excellence. We are located in the S Building in the Student Learning Commons area. Free tutoring, study sessions, resources and workshops for students are available. You can find schedules and make an appointment easily online or stop by the Center.

Tutoring Options
In-Person and Virtual
Appointments can be scheduled online. Tutor availability will vary by location and subject.
Tutoring for Nursing

Brainfuse is an online tutoring system that is available 24/7 to OCtech students. This service allows students to communicate with a live tutor, or to submit a paper for review through their writing lab.
Brainfuse has Live Help where you can communicate with a tutor in real-time. The Brainfuse Writing Lab allows you to submit a paper for review. Your reviewed paper will return to your inbox within 24 hours.
Math Lab
Building S, Room 201
HOURS:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Tuesday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Math tutors are available to assist students in-person in the math lab when open. Students can make an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome.
English and Writing Papers
Need help writing a paper for class? Make an appointment with us to get that extra support.
You can also meet with a Librarian to get assistance with research by contacting the Library.
Biology
You can can make an appointment to meet with a tutor in the Student Success Center.
Our Biology study room is equipped with resources and models that can be used by students. Groups can meet in the Biology room based on availibility.
