Online Resources and Tools
O*NET Online
You can research jobs by career cluster or by job prospect. You can also search by comparing your education and skills to those required by careers. Occupation reports offer a range of information, from a broad overview to comprehensive detail on a specific subject.
CareerOneStop
CareerOneStop is the flagship career, training, and job search website for the U.S. Department of Labor. The website serves job seekers, businesses, students, and career advisors with a variety of free online tools, information and resources.
Forage
Forage is free to use. It offers free access to virtual work experience programs from various companies, allowing users to gain practical experience and enhance their resumes without any cost. You can participate in these programs at your own pace and explore different industries, skills, and roles.
Hiration
Hiration offers both free and paid plans. The free version provides limited access to features such as resume templates and career resources. However, to unlock additional features like advanced resume feedback, personalized job recommendations, and premium templates, you would need to subscribe to their paid plans.
Big Interview
Big Interview offers both free and paid plans. The free plan provides basic access to certain features, such as interview preparation tools and some interview question practice. However, to access more advanced features, such as personalized coaching, detailed interview feedback, and additional resources, you would need to upgrade to their paid subscription.

What can I do with a major? is a website featuring 106 major profi les with information on common career paths, types of employers that hire in the fi eld, and strategies to maximize opportunities. Links to professional associations, occupational outlook information, and job search resources are included.
Occupational Outlook Handbook
The OOH is updated yearly and has an abundance of information about hundreds of occupations including:
● Required training/education
● Average earnings
● Expected job prospects
● On-the-job experiences and working conditions The OOH is broken up into clusters of similar occupations. In order to fi nd an occupation, browse the occupation groups of interest on the left-hand side of the homepage, or use the A–Z Index if you know the specific occupation.

RippleMatch is a recruitment automation platform transforming the way Gen Z engages with the job market. By replacing traditional job boards with intelligent matching and automation, RippleMatch streamlines the recruitment process, saving time for both employers and job seekers. Leading organizations such as eBay and Teach For America rely on RippleMatch to build diverse, high-performing teams, while Gen Z job seekers nationwide trust the platform to launch and advance their careers.
Agile Work Profiler
Taking into account both your interests and abilities, The DeBruce Foundation’s free career assessment tool – the Agile Work Profiler (AWP) – gives you a ranked set of “Agilities,” which are universal to all occupations. With the knowledge of your Agilities, you can better explore the careers in which you are most interested, learn how much training and education is required, find out how much they typically pay, and discover other careers that could also be a good fit.
NACE Salary Calculator
The NACE Salary Calculator is a tool developed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) to help employers, students, and career services professionals estimate salary ranges for recent graduates. It uses data from the NACE’s annual salary survey to provide insights into typical starting salaries based on factors such as degree level, academic discipline, geographic region, and industry. The calculator aims to provide valuable benchmarks for setting competitive compensation and making informed career decisions.
