The Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College (OCtech) Foundation is pleased to welcome three new board members. Dr. John F. Ansley, Martha R. Burleson, and Linda F. McGannon have joined the OCtech Foundation Board to help fulfill its mission of furthering the educational aims of the College and its students.
Dr. John Ansley is a physician and partner in the Carolina Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic. He received a B.A. from Brown University and his M.D. from Cornell Medical College. Dr. Ansley is a member of the Palmetto Medical Dental Association and the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. He is a past member of the board of the Regional Medical Center Foundation.
Martha Burleson is the Super Sod office manager. Mrs. Burleson received a B. A. from Faulkner University and a M.B.A. from Clemson University. She serves on the Leadership Council of Faulkner University, is a member of the board of Patten Seed Company, and also serves on the board of the North Shore Homeowners Association. She is a member of the Orangeburg Church of Christ.
Linda McGannon is active in the Orangeburg community and is a Core Group Leader and a member of the Leader’s Council for Community Bible Student. She is also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Mrs. McGannon is a former member of the board of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and is a past president of the Junior Service League. She continues to serve on the board of the Landing Homeowners Association. Mrs. McGannon is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
