Enjoy Fine Wines and Food in support of OCtech Foundation on October 23

Sample dishes by some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers and taste a variety of wines and specialty beer at the Webber Evening of Fine Wines and Food.

Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College Foundation will hold its annual fall fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at the Orangeburg County Library and Conference Center on Russell Street in downtown Orangeburg.

Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffle bites, Charleston red rice, crab dip, a charcuterie station, assorted dessert pizzas and more are on the evening’s menu. Bringing some of their signature items to delight guests are A Gracious Affair, Barbeque on the Go & Lowcountry Produce, Bistro 221, Blaz n Buz Catering Company, Broughton Street Café, Buck Ridge Plantation, Catering for All Occasions, Chestnut Grill, Dupre Catering & Events, Eatery at the Depot, Fogle’s Piggly Wiggly, Golden Kernel Pecan Company, House of Pizza on Sims Street, Mama’s Kountry Kooking, Randolph’s Artisan Italian Ice & Gelato, Scooter’s Coffee, The Rotonda Banquet & Entertainment Facility, and Whipped Sweets & Treats.

Wine, beer and spirits for the evening will be provided by Advintage Distributing, Breakthru Beverage, Edisto Beer Garden, Grapevine Distributors, Republic National Distributing Company, Southern Crown Partners, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Winebow and Yachtail.

In addition to fabulous food and drink, guests are invited to purchase entries in the evening’s Golden Ticket drawings for three spectacular prizes – a $500 Halls Chophouse gift card, a $1,000 Palmetto Bluff gift card and a Kandi Trail King Electric Bike. Golden Tickets are $50 each or three for $125.

This year’s event chairs are Monica and Todd McElhone and Laura and Ryan Phillips.

Tickets to the Webber Evening of Fine Wines and Food are $75 per person. Money raised assists students with the cost of attending OCtech and funds educational projects that help the school fulfill its mission of taking students from college to career.
