Emergency Medical Technician

Emergency medical technicians – or EMTs – are often the first responders in medical emergencies and care for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. OCtech’s EMT program combines classroom learning and hands-on practice with real experience alongside area ambulance crews. 

We prepare you to offer life-saving measures in a wide range of situations. You’ll learn essential skills such as patient assessment, airway management, CPR and how to safely transport patients. This multifaceted training equips you with the knowledge and expertise needed to respond effectively to emergencies and provide critical care on-site and during transit.
