Personal Resources
Personal Counseling Program
Feeling overwhelmed? MYgroup provides free in-person, virtual, telephonic or chat counseling sessions 24/7/365. Additional student-life services are also available to help guide you through struggles at home – from child or elder care to financial or legal issues – so you can focus at school. To access these services, call 1.800.633.3353 or use the button below to request an appointment (select Student Assistance Program from the dropdown menu; our organization is Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College).
Students with Disabilities
We are committed to making OCtech accessible to all of our students. Contact us so we can make sure you have everything you need to excel.
Food Pantry
We serve all OCtech students who are experiencing food insecurity. There is no fee to access the pantry; we only request that you provide your student ID card. We are fully committed to you privacy.
The Owls Nest Food Pantry is open each Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is located in Building P, Rm. 1205 (at the back of the campus behind the basketball court.) For more information contact Student Services at 803.535.1224.

TRIO Student Support Services
TRIO Student Support Services is designed to increase the academic performance and retention and graduation rates of students who are first-generation, low-income or have a documented disability.
Student Success Center
Free tutoring in all subjects, study sessions, learning skills assessments, resources and workshops for students are available. Find schedules and make an appointment easily online or stop by the center. We’re located in the Student Learning Commons on the first floor of Building S.
